Meenakshi Amman Temple One of the most well-known temples in India is the Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple. It is one of India's oldest temples, making it notable from a religious standpoint.

Puthu Mandapam Puthu Mandapam is situated to the east of Meenakshi Temple and was constructed in 1635 as a summer residence for Lord Sundareswarar and Goddess Meenakshi.

Saint Mary's Cathedral Fr. Garnier constructed this church in 1841 as a tiny chapel, which was later expanded in 1916. Its official name is Church of Our Lady of Dolours
