Mulshi, which is around  35 kilometres from Pune, is a wonderful destination to explore, particularly during the monsoon season.

Green Location Pin

In this region,  Mulshi Lake develops.  It is the ideal entryway for nature enthusiasts because of the Sahyadri hills, Koraigadh, & Dhangad fort, which are known for their beautiful splendour

Heart

A gravity dam made of rubble masonry was built spanning the rivers Mula and Nila near the town of Mulshi between 1921 and 1926.

The dam was not built with earthquake forces and uplift pressures in mind. The dam has recently been upgraded in light of the local seismic activity to withstand both earthquake forces.

But even in the height of summer, this location is calm and serene. Consequently, you can schedule your trip at any time of the year.

Mulshi Lake and Dam, a destination for environment enthusiasts, is among the greatest choices for a quick journey into nature's tranquilly and its peaceful surroundings, far from the bustle of cities.

The most popular activity at Mulshi Lake and Dam is camping. Rent a cabin beside the lake, build a bonfire nearby, and take in the natural beauty of the area.

What could be calmer than this?  The Sahyadri mountain ranges encircle this lake,  which was formed by the Mulshi dam's backwater on the River Mula.

The picture that is created by the rugged slopes, rich foliage, and tranquilly of the lake is captivating and revitalising.

There are numerous ways to go from Pune to Mulshi Lake and Dam. The most efficient route is from Mulshi to Chandni Chowk through Pune.

Visitors can visit from 9 in the morning to 6 at night. If you want to stay in the midst of this natural splendour, you may quickly find a variety of lodging options.
